Peatland Fire Weather Conditions in Sumatra, Indonesia

This study was conducted to identify the fire weather conditions needed assess future peatland fires under climate change. Recent in Indonesia have resulted globally significant environmental impacts. Nevertheless, peatlands has not been clarified. The objective of this is determine We analyzed fire, rainfall, temperature, humidity, and wind fire-prone areas Sumatra. Analysis results using 20 years satellite hotspot data from 2003 showed that Sumatra occur every other month except December April when rainfall intensifies.
